SICK Ultrasonic Flow Meters
Flowmeter FLOWSIC100

SICK's unique FLOWSIC100 flowmeter is used in emissions control systems in the chemical and petrochemical industries.
Flow meter for continuous monitoring of air emissions.
The FLOWSIC100 series was designed to measure air emissions. Versions H are designed for use in pipes with a large diameter and a high degree of dust, versions M are optimal for pipes of medium diameters. In the PR probe version, both ultrasonic transceivers are mounted on one transceiver unit (measuring probe) creating a fixed measuring section. The AC versions are equipped with innovative internal cooling for use at gas temperatures up to 450 ° C. Px purge versions are used for gases with a high content of sticky or wet dust.
  • Durable titanium transceiver ensures long life
  • Corrosion resistant material for use in aggressive gases (option)
  • Full bore pipe diameter measurement in versions H, M and S
  • Probe version PR for economical one-way pipe installation
  • Automatic performance check by reference points (including zero control)
FLOWSIC100 Process

  • Reliable and accurate measurement of volume flow in processes
  • Corrosion resistant stainless steel or titanium transducer.
  • Technological pressure up to 16 bar.
  • Explosion-proof design available for use in Zone 2 (ATEX).
  • Sealed ultrasonic transducer.
  • Measurement with almost no pressure drop and no effect on the process.
  • Automatic functional control with testing at zero and base points
Ultrasonic Gas Flow Meters FLOWSIC100 Flare
Reliable gas flow measurement in flare gas installations.
  • Reliable process control thanks to accurate measurement near the zero point
  • High degree of measurement availability even during emergency shutdown, maximum gas speed - up to 120 m / s
  • Solution for measuring flare gas and steam injection
  • Cost savings due to the fact that the control unit is located separately in a safe area
  • System solution for controlling three different measuring points from one common control unit
  • Cost savings through one-way installation with the FLOWSIC100 EX-PR probe version
  • Ensuring optimal device performance through continuous functional monitoring and advanced field diagnostics
Emission control systems
Various options for organizing an environmental monitoring system
  • Without sampling:
    • installation on a pipe or duct
  • Sampling "hot extraction":
    • Sampling with a heated probe with pre-treatment
    • Heated sample transportation
    • Heated Cell Analyzer
  • Sampling "cold extraction":
    • Sampling with a heated probe with pre-treatment
    • Sample transportation via a heated line to a sample cooler
    • Drain the sample before feeding it to the analyzer
Each of the options has its advantages and disadvantages.
The choice depends on the characteristics of the enterprise and the technological installation.

Scattered light dust collectors
Reliable low dust measurement

The measurement principle, based on the scattering of light by dust particles, makes it possible to detect even a very low degree of dust. Depending on the requirements of a particular installation, forward or backscatter is used. Both of these measurement principles provide stable and reproducible measurement results. Regardless of gas velocity, humidity, or charge of dust particles.
